Writers: send us your work

Please note: we are currently only viewing artwork for the next issue of Lenticular. When we are reading new work, we enjoy fiction, experimental prose, poetry, essays, most kinds of art. Bold stylistic leaps are good, narrative fiction is also good. We find too much of any single form limiting, just as we wouldn’t want to eat the same thing every day.

If you’ve noticed a lack of the terms “submission,” and “submit,” that’s intentional. There is already enough degradation in this world.

We are a small project with a few members with limited time and resources. We will read all work sent our way and we will respond accordingly. Unfortunately, we are unable to pay contributors at this time, but we hope to do this at some point.

Poetry:

We are not currently reading poetry for consideration. We will update this site once we are reading again, hopefully in late summer/early fall 2024.

Fiction:

We are not currently reading fiction for consideration. We will update this site once we are reading again, hopefully in late summer/early fall 2024.

Essays:

We are especially interested in vital takes on issues relating to daily life and the larger world. Email us before sending essays.

Art:

Artists can send work directly, or links to existing work.

General info:

Email all work to lenticularlit@proton.me. For text, we prefer documents in Microsoft Word or Open Office, but we can consider pdfs for pieces with complicated line breaks. Images are best in png or jpg format.

You can send work to us that you also send to other publications simultaneously. Let us know right away if your work is going to be published elsewhere. Please include a short bio and tell us how you heard about Lenticular. We do not accept work that has previously been published in other online or print publications. We do, however, make exceptions for book excerpts.

Author/Artist Rights:

If we decide to use your work, and you agree to let us use it, we get the right to put it on our website. We consider all rights to the work to be held by the respective creators of the work.
